BRIEFING | schematic illustration of the ‘homunculus’ (cortical homunculus), where distorted/rescaled parts of the body are placed along corresponding areas of the human brain to create a neurological map of somatosensory information and motor processing in the cerebral cortex. Used as part of a public presentation explicating IBS’s research into neurotechnology and body-worn brain monitors.
