Stefanie’s interest in knowledge visualisation has extended over the years beyond medicine and health to projects revolving around social practise, education, and technology. Since 2023 she has been working as a scientific illustrator/graphic designer at the BIFOLD Institute (Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data), where she interviews researchers about their work in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning to then provide them with visual abstracts, poster graphics and interactive demos to showcase their research.

Highlights to date include a best poster award* at the 27th Canadian Symposium on Catalysis, and an infographic chosen as cover artwork for the Journal of Physical Chemistry (Dec. 2024)*. In 2024 graphics created for NEEDMI software (developed at BIFOLD in conjunction with Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin) were exhibited at the annual Berliner Hoffest for the Mayor of Berlin and other notable officials.  (*research for corresponding graphics by Parastoo Semnani)
